  • Certification exam (45 minutes, multiple-choice questions, creating a lesson plan on PowerLesson)
Level 2
  • Certified classroom observation (the lesson plan on PowerLesson covers pre-lesson, in lesson, and post-lesson)
  • Certification exam (30 minutes, multiple-choice questions)
Level 3
  • Train 10 teachers to achieve Level 1 certification
  • Host open classes observed by at least 10 teachers
  • Submit school-based digital learning implementation strategies, digital teaching concept explanations, and 10 observation records

Certification Assessment Details

Qualifications / Assessment Criteria (Scope)
Level 1
  1. Level 1 certification course completion (2 hours)
  2. Attended an eClass seminar or workshop within the past year prior to the assessment
  3. Digitize traditional teaching materials to create a paperless classroom
    • Basic operations (such as logging in/out, creating lesson plans, importing students, and downloading/installing the PowerLesson app)
    • Create a PowerLesson digital lesson plan that includes:
      • Multimedia teaching content for use during class
      • Activities for collecting students' digital assignments during class
      • Activities to gather student feedback or responses during class
      • Assessment activities during class
      • Practice quizzes with various question types

Assessment Format: Multiple-choice questions and PowerLesson lesson plan creation

Level 2
  1. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level 1 certification
  2. Level 2 certification course completion (3 hours)
  3. Attended at least two recognized eLearning seminars or workshops within the year prior to assessment
  4. Conducted a minimum of 30 PowerLesson teaching sessions within the year
  5. Student-centered approach, optimized and integrated digital materials to enhance interactive teaching
    • (For certified classroom observation) Create a PowerLesson digital lesson plan including:
      • Learning activities for pre-lesson, in lesson, and post-lesson
      • Pre-lesson videos with subtitles or reference materials
      • Flipped Channels exercises with embedded questions for pre-lesson practice
      • Activities that promote teacher-student and student-student interaction or collaborative learning
      • Assessment activities that support effective learning

Assessment Format: Multiple-choice questions and certified classroom observation

Level 3
  1. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level 2 certification
  2. Level 3 certification course completion (3 hours)
  3. Served as a speaker at recognized eLearning seminars or workshops within the past year
  4. Successfully trained 10 teachers to achieve Level 1 certification
  5. Hosted open classes for at least 10 teachers to observe and exchange teaching strategies
  6. Encourage teamwork to help students develop self-directed learning skills
    • School-based digital learning implementation strategy
    • Concept Explanation:
      • Based on developed (and utilized) digital lesson plans, explain how eLearning tools are used to foster student collaboration, independent learning, and accommodate diverse learning needs

Assessment Format: School-based digital learning implementation strategy, a 500-word concept explanation, and 10 observation record forms
